edgenetwork.org reserves the right to revoke, modify, or nullify the Terms of Service at any time without notice. edgenetwork.org also reserves the right to exempt both paying and non-paying members from the Terms of Service at any time, with or without due cause.
edgenetwork.org encourages members to post about their opinion, and to express themselves through our message boards, email accounts and chat room. edgenetwork.org values freedom of expression on our site but we do not guarantee the right to free speech.
Those who want to use our free services and tools must agree to accept our email messages as part of their free service. We also require that our Advertising HTML code is inserted into the upper 25% of ALL pages which bear viewable content. In event hosted site uses frames, code is not to be placed in a frame of it's own and instead is to appear on all pages that will be viewed in the main frame, and is not required on a menu frame, etc.
edgenetwork.org provides members with unlimited web space. Unlimited Web Space, as defined by edgenetwork.org, is comprised of hypertext markup language (html) and associated files, intended solely for the audio/visual presentation of edgenetwork.org members' web pages. The spirit of unlimited web space is specifically not intended as a storage facility for members' personal digital files, however short term (up to 1 week) storage of small amounts of files on either your http or ftp account is permitted. The value for "small amounts" shall be determined by edgenetwork.org staff on a case-by-case basis, but usually shall not exceed 10mb. Using it as a permanent storage facility is a violation of edgenetwork.org's Terms of Service. edgenetwork.org also requires a reason for data amount over 50mb to be stored on its service, please contact support@edgenetwork.org for further information.
edgenetwork.org currently does allow MP3 files to be uploaded to members' accounts. Before uploading an MP3 file, please ensure that you are not breaking and national or international copyright laws. If the music is copyrighted, express permission is required from the holder(s) of that copyright. edgenetwork.org DOES NOT allow copyrighted material of ANY kind to be uploaded to an edgenetwork.org account, or posted in any form on an edgenetwork.org service without the express permission of the copyright holder.
Content of edgenetwork.org's hosted sites is solely the responsibility of the hosted site.
edgenetwork.org does not regularly review the content of hosted sites. We STRICTLY prohibit the posting of the following types of content on all areas of our sites:
- edgenetwork.org does not allow nudity, pornography, and sexual material of a lewd or obscene nature and intent, or that violates local, state, national laws or international Laws.
- edgenetwork.org does not allow any material that violates or infringes in any way upon the proprietary rights of others, including, without limitation, copyright or trademark rights; this includes "WAREZ" (copyrighted software that is distributed illegally), "mp3" files of copyrighted music, copyrighted photographs, text, video or artwork, or links to such content. If the content does not have express authorization or documented permission to be used on the site, edgenetwork.org Reserves the right to terminate your account and delete any and or all of your data, and refuse further membership requests.
- edgenetwork.org does not condone or allow any material that is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane, indecent, or otherwise objectionable; including posting other peoples' private information.
- edgenetwork.org does not allow content that promotes, encourages, or provides instructional information about illegal activities---specifically hacking, cracking, or phreaking, or links to sites with such content.
- edgenetwork.org does not allow any software, information, or other material that contains a virus, "Trojan Horse", "worm" corrupted data, or any other harmful or damaging component;
- edgenetwork.org does not allow hate propaganda or hate mongering, or fraudulent material or activity.
edgenetwork.org is not responsible for the content posted by edgenetwork.org members or visitors on any area of our site including without limitation, homepages, chat rooms, message boards and email accounts. The opinions and views expressed by edgenetwork.org's members or visitors do not necessarily represent those of edgenetwork.org and edgenetwork.org does not verify, endorse, or vouch for the content of such page(s). Further, edgenetwork.org is not responsible for the delivery or quality of any goods or services sold or advertised through or on an edgenetwork.org members' page(s). If you believe that any of the content posted by our members or visitors violates your proprietary rights, including copyrights, or violates our terms of service please contact abuse@edgenetwork.org.
By submitting your data to edgenetwork.org, you represent that your data completely complies with edgenetwork.org's Terms of Service. If any third party brings a claim, lawsuit or other proceeding against edgenetwork.org based on your conduct or use of edgenetwork.org services, you agree to compensate edgenetwork.org (including its staff and volunteers) for any and all losses, liabilities, damages or expenses, including attorney's fees, incurred by edgenetwork.org in connection with any such claim, lawsuit or proceeding.
edgenetwork.org is the final arbiter of what IS and IS NOT allowed on our site. Further, edgenetwork.org reserves the right to modify or remove anything submitted to edgenetwork.org, and to cancel any membership, at any time for any reason without prior notice. edgenetwork.org is not obliged to maintain back-ups copies of any material submitted or posted on our site. Actions or activities that may cause termination of your membership and/or removal of your page(s) include, but are not limited to:
- Posting or providing links to any content, which violates our Terms of Service
- Conducting or providing links to any raffle, contest, or game which violates any local, state/provincial, national laws or international laws.
- Displaying on your page any paid advertising or other paid sponsorship banner other edgenetwork.org's Authorized Advertising Code.
- Sending unsolicited email using a edgenetwork.org and/or an affiliates address or containing any reference to your edgenetwork.org home page.
- Reproducing, distributing, republishing or retransmitting material posted by other edgenetwork.org members without the prior permission of such members.
edgenetwork.org reserves the right to monitor, and to investigate any complaints regarding any content of edgenetwork.org members' pages, message-board postings, or any chat room statements and to take appropriate action if edgenetwork.org finds violations of these Terms of Service. Accordingly, you agree that edgenetwork.org will have the right to access your site at any time, without advance notice. If access to your site is restricted, whether by password or otherwise, you agree to provide edgenetwork.org with whatever information is required to access your site. In the case of any such complaint, edgenetwork.org reserves the right to remove the content complained of while edgenetwork.org member and the complaining party attempt to resolve their dispute. This could result in your page(s) being removed from edgenetwork.org for as long as it takes to resolve the dispute.
You grant to edgenetwork.org and its affiliates a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive, worldwide, unrestricted license to use, copy, modify, transmit, distribute, and publicly perform or display the submitted pages or other content for the purposes of displaying such information on edgenetwork.org's sites and for the promotion and marketing of edgenetwork.org's services. edgenetwork.org disclaims ownership of member sites and will not resell or otherwise convey these rights to any third party.
The personal profile information that you submit to edgenetwork.org remains your property, but by submitting that information to edgenetwork.org you grant edgenetwork.org the right to use that information for internal marketing to members. We do not sell our member list. In addition, edgenetwork.org reserves the right to release current or past member information in the event edgenetwork.org believes that the membership is being or has been used in violation of the Terms of Service or to commit unlawful acts, if the information is subpoenaed, or when edgenetwork.org deems it necessary or appropriate. By agreeing to the conditions of these Terms of Service, you hereby consent to disclosure of any record or communication to any third party when edgenetwork.org, in its sole discretion, determines the disclosure to be appropriate.
Your use of edgenetwork.org's services are at your sole risk. All edgenetwork.org services are provided on an "AS IS" basis WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, CONSTRUCTIVE, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NONINFRINGEMENT OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
edgenetwork.org makes no guarantee of availability of service and reserves the right to change, withdraw, suspend, or discontinue any functionality or feature of edgenetwork.org service(s). IN NO EVENT WILL edgenetwork.org BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE edgenetwork.org'S SERVICES OR ANY CONTENT THEREON FOR ANY REASON INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, edgenetwork.org'S REMOVAL OR DELETION OF ANY MATERIALS OR RECORDS SUBMITTED OR POSTED ON edgenetwork.org'S SITE FOR ANY REASON. THIS DISCLAIMER APPLIES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, TO ANY DAMAGES OR INJURY, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, CAUSED; ANY FAILURE OF PERFORMANCE; ERROR; OMISSION; INTERRUPTION; DELETION; DEFECT; DELAY IN OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION; COMPUTER VIRUS; FILE CORRUPTION; COMMUNICATION-LINE FAILURE; NETWORK OR SYSTEM OUTAGE; OR THEFT, DESTRUCTION, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO, ALTERATION OF, OR USE OF ANY RECORD.
